SAGE, 2000 Drucker Award Winner, to Receive Oprah Honor

The winner of the 2000 Drucker Innovation Award will receive Oprah's Angel Network's "Use Your Life Award" honoring those "using their life" to improve the lives of others. Norma Hotaling, SAGE Project Inc.'s founder and Executive Director, is being recognized and will accept the $100,000 award that will be used for its Peer Educator Training Program.

San Francisco's SAGE Project Inc. was presented the 2000 Drucker Award for Nonprofit Innovation for its Peer Educator Training Program. As the winner of the Drucker Award, they received a $25,000 prize and a professionally produced short video documentary. The video documentary was submitted to "The Oprah Winfrey Show" for consideration, and SAGE was selected a winner of Oprah's Angel Network's "Use Your Life Award."
