About the Editors
Frances Hesselbein is the founding president and current chairman of the Frances Hesselbein Leadership Institute, and editor-in-chief of its journal Leader to Leader. She serves on many nonprofit and private sector corporate boards and has won numerous awards and honors including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the United States' highest civilian honor. Hesselbein served as CEO of the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. from 1976 to 1990 and currently lives in New York City. She is an inspirational leader to many and author and coeditor of many books including Hesselbeain On Leadership and The Leader of the Future 2. Marshall Goldsmith has been recognized by the American Management Association as one of 50 great thinkers who have influenced the field of management and by BusinessWeek as one of the most influential practitioners in the history of leadership development. He has appeared in: The Wall Street Journal as one of the top ten executive educators, Forbes as one of five most-respected executive coaches and The Economist as one of the most credible thought leaders in the new era of business. Dr. Goldsmith is the author or co-editor of over 20 books including the bestselling What Got You Here Won't Get You There and the forthcoming Succession: Are You Ready?.
